A wealth of History, Art and Culture<\/h2>\nAlberobello is a small town, also known as \u201cthe Capital of Trulli\u201d,UNESCO Heritage, \u201cfeather in the cap\u201d of Apulia and beyond. This beautiful hamlet is one of a kind, indeed many visitors remain astonished in visiting it every year. The Old Town of Alberobello is the only one made up entirely of trulli: they are old houses with a conic shape and built only with stones, without any adhesive (a \u201cdry\u201d technique): trulli are a big example of Apulia\u2019s popular architecture. Alberobello is- undoubtedly-one of the most suggestive towns in South Italy, a place that everybody have to visit, once in a lifetime.\n

Things to see in Alberobello<\/h2>\n

  • Rione Monti: it is made up of 1030 trulli. They are aligned along the edge of eight irregular little streets that go on towards the top of the hill, where the Church of S. Antonio da Padova<\/strong> rises up; here can be found different kinds of trulli, the most famous of them are the \u201cTrulli siamesi<\/strong>\u201d, united on their top but with the entrances on two different streets. To enjoy a breath-taking viewpoint, the centre of Alberobello<\/strong> can be reached and exactly the Square of Gian Girolamo D\u2019Acquaviva-D\u2019Aragona, where the terrace of S. Lucia, or panoramic viewpoint roof-terrace is located.<\/li>\n \t
  • Rione Aia Piccola: this area includes 400 trulli, all almost inhabited. The \u201cRione Aia Piccola\u201d is the perfect place to breathe the atmosphere of the old Medieval hamlet. Here the Trullo Sovrano, a two-story trullo<\/strong> with a big facade is located.<\/li>\n \t
  • Between the Rione Aia Piccola and Popolo Square, there is Pezzola House<\/strong>, an architectural complex unique in the world: it is made up of 15 trulli all connected to one another. Nowadays Pezzola House is the seat of the Territory Museum.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div>
