Tour itinerary<\/h2>

The day begins in the centre of Ostuni with a stop at a historic pastry shop<\/strong>, where you can enjoy an iced coffee alongside the traditional \u201ctetta della monaca\u201d<\/strong>, one of the area\u2019s best-known pastries.<\/p>

Visit to Masseria Brancati<\/h2>

After the pastry shop stop, the tour continues by vintage minibus to historic Masseria Brancati<\/strong>, set amid the striking Plain of Monumental Olive Trees.<\/p>

The guided visit includes:<\/p>

  • the monumental olive grove;<\/li>
  • the underground Roman-era olive mill;<\/li>
  • the above-ground olive mill dating from 1880.<\/li><\/ul>

    During the visit, you will learn about the history of local olive oil production and discover the traditional techniques once used to process the olives.<\/p>

    Extra virgin olive oil tasting<\/h2>

    At the end of the visit, you will enjoy a guided tasting of extra virgin olive oil<\/strong> produced at the masseria.<\/p>

    The tasting includes an introduction to the oil\u2019s distinctive qualities, the production methods and the techniques used to recognise a high-quality product.<\/p>

    Coastal Dunes Nature Park<\/h2>

    The tour continues towards the Coastal Dunes Regional Nature Park<\/strong>, travelling through an authentic landscape characterised by:<\/p>

    • centuries-old olive trees;<\/li>
    • historic masserie;<\/li>
    • traditional lamie, rural stone buildings typical of Puglia;<\/li>
    • country lanes and unpaved tracks.<\/li><\/ul>

      Along the way, there will be a break to enjoy a traditional Puglian panzerotto<\/strong>.<\/p>

      Sunset by the River Morelli and return<\/h2>

      The day ends at sunset near the River Morelli<\/strong>, in one of the most scenic corners of the Coastal Dunes Nature Park.<\/p>
